Dont worry about the red light in dam its totally fine your looking at 50€ to begin with negotiable thru to 100€ approx for anal etc etc

BS:it's one of the safest areas in the city. They're not african immigrants. They are born and raised Amsterdammers with Carribean or Morroccan born (grand)parents. When they adress you, just ignore them. People that are stoned and drunk here are tourists. Apart from the guys I described above, you will hardly find any Amsterdammer here, since the Wallen is a tourist trap. Coffeeshops, beer and hookers are way more expensive than other Amsterdam areas.

It can seem little intimidating to someone new to dam late at night, and for the record they are NOT all amsterdammers as you put it numerous north african immigrants in these areas, i have many dutch friends whom also tell me the same oh n they are amsterdammers!
